Have you explored the Michigan UP? From the colorful Pictured Rocks to the clear waters of Kitch-iti-Kipi to a tour into a mine… there is something for everyone on a UP road trip. And while a couple of these places do get quite crowded, I think that the UP as a whole is still quite underrated.

One thing I’ve realized from my goal to hike in all 50 states is just how much each region of the US varies. There are differences in terrain, wildlife, possible weather conditions, local rules and regulations and so much more. This means that it’s extra important to do your research ahead of time while you’re traveling.

Have you explored Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore? This park is GORGEOUS and full of adventure.
