Grand Prismatic Spring

Watch Old Faithful erupt: Old Faithful is one of the reliable and predictable geysers in the world. It erupts about every 90 minutes.

Visit the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone: This is one of the most iconic parts of the park, and can be enjoyed at multiple viewpoints, and/or by short hiking trails.

Visit Mammoth Hot Springs: This unique area features terraces made up of white, chalky minerals.

Look for wildlife in Lamar Valley: This region of the park is a great place to spot bears, wolves, pronghorn and more. It’s best to visit at sunrise or sunset.

Admire the Grand Prismatic Spring: This is the largest hot spring in the United States, and explodes with a rainbow of colors. You can walk next to it, and take a short walk to admire the spring from above.

Visit Mud Volcano: This unique geothermal feature literally erupts with mud. The hydrothermal features in this area are some of the most acidic in the park.
