Hawai'i Travel Guides

Whether you’re looking for tropical beaches, volcanic landscapes, epic hiking trails or amazing food, Hawai’i makes for an incredible vacation.

The archipelago of Hawai’i is made up of 8 different islands. Out of the 8 islands, there are 4 larger ones that the majority of people travel to: O’ahu (home to Honolulu and Pearl Harbor), the Big Island of Hawai’i, Kaua’i and Maui. Each island has its own personality, and they’re all worth visiting.

Being a series of islands, Hawai’i has limited resources and has suffered from overtourism in recent years. As a visitor, I think it’s extra important to visit with respect. That includes wearing reef-safe sunscreen while swimming, not approaching wildlife and respecting parking regulations. You’ll also need to do your research ahead of time, as many popular parks and trailheads have instated reservation systems in recent years.

From relaxing on the beach to surfing to helicopter rides, there are so many amazing things to do in Hawaii. Use the travel guides below to help plan your trip.
