Vermont Travel Guides

Vermont is a beautiful New England state known for the Green Mountain range, great skiing, adorable small towns and maple syrup. It’s actually the second least populous state in the country after Wyoming.

From farm-fresh food to apple cider to maple creemees, the food in Vermont is amazing. Plus, there is some wonderful hiking and outdoor recreation. Vermont is also stunning in the fall.

Take an Epic New England Fall Road Trip

New England is an incredible place to visit in the fall! The vibrant fall foliage is some of the best in the United States, and this is a trip that should be on everyone’s USA bucket list.

Here are some tips to ensure a successful fall visit:

  • Peak foliage varies year to year and can be different depending on which area you’re in. My advice is to plan the best you can, but don’t stress too much about being in the exact right places at the exact right times. You’ll experience beauty no matter what! However, I recommend planning your trip in the first two weeks of October.

  • Check out the live foliage trackers for each state for real-time updates. Here is the Vermont tracker.

  • Download offline maps before you go in case you lose service.
