Washington Travel Guides

Known as the “Evergreen State,” Washington is full of so much natural beauty. You’ll find volcanoes, mountains, rainforests and glaciers throughout the state. It;s packed full of variety and adventure!

Seattle is the largest city in Washington and a great place to fly into or visit on its own. On a clear day, you can see Mt Rainier from Seattle, which is really special! A few places I love in Seattle include Discovery Park, Gas Works Park and Pike Place Market.

Washington also has 3 national parks - Mt Rainier, Olympic and the North Cascades. Each one has something different to offer. Mt Rainier and the North Cascades are incredible for mountain hiking, while Olympic is home to rainforests and miles of coastline, in addition to mountains of its own. It’s worth taking a national park road trip to explore them all!

Another must-visit area of Washington is the San Juan Islands. These islands are known for being home to 5 different types of whales, and each one has something unique to offer. Learn more about traveling to Washington below.
