Arkansas Travel Guides

Arkansas is a Southern US state known for being home to the Walmart headquarters, being the birthplace of Bill Clinton, having the only public diamond mine in the world, and more.

Along with those unique aspects, Arkansas may be the MOST underrated state when it comes to outdoor adventure! (In my opinion, at least). The state is home to some beautiful state parks, an incredible National River, and endless cool rock formations.

Plus, there are some cool cities - like the artsy and outdoorsy Bentonville or the historic Little Rock. If you’re looking for a less crowded road trip destination, you must add Arkansas to your list. Read my Arkansas guides below to plan your visit!

What is there to do in Arkansas?

If you’re wondering whether Arkansas is worth visiting, my answer is a resounding yes! A few things to do in Arkansas include exploring Hot Springs National Park (a great park for history), hiking in Petit Jean State Park, exploring Little Rock, taking in the views at Mount Magazine and mountain biking in Bentonville. And there are many more!

I also think that Arkansas makes for an epic getaway from Dallas - I visited Arkansas a lot when I lived in Texas. Read my guides on Little Rock, Bentonville, and more, below.
